I have practised Feldenkrais technique for many years and you will find many elements of this approach in my yoga classes. For me yoga is a breath, energy and awareness practice. Feldenkrais method (named after Moshe Feldenkrais) is otherwise known as Awareness through Movement so there are many cross overs. It is an exploratory, gentle, fluid way of moving. By heightening our awareness of our movement, breathing and posture, we learn to move more freely, with greater ease, flexibility and grace. Interweaving elements of this approach with yoga can permanently improve our posture, balance and coordination, and awaken our innate capacity for vitality and self-development.
